Abstract

The maintenance or possibly increasing productivity through low levels of inputs was considered non-feasible for a long period of time. However, sustainable agriculture through nature farming strives to achieve that with many instances in Holland and adopted by agriculturists. An achieve research project was carried out at Waganingen, which showed positive effects of EM on soil and pastures. Projects are underway to treat water with EM based products, while wastes from breweries are made into compost or organic fertilizers. Silage is made with EM and fed to livestock and growth monitored. The most recent projects undertaken by Agriton and research institutions in Holland will be highlighted.
